Going on an Alaskan luxury cruise could be a dream come true. There are many charter companies that can fill this dream. Depending on the preference of the person looking into it they can charter a small boat, ones that can accommodate around a dozen people, or they can partake of the larger cruise, which can hold up to three thousand passengers. But if you are looking to really see the sights, maybe get in some fishing, whale watching and sightseeing a smaller cruise ship will offer you many benefits. The cruises are available to all kinds of people; singles looking to enjoy an adventure, couples, families or corporate groups.
The smaller cruise ships will make an Alaskan adventure more of a wilderness trip. They will arrange for their passengers to be able to walking in the rainforests, get close to the where the sea lions have their young, see the brown bears feed and watch over the sides as the whales swim by. This can be a very rewarding experience. These cruises usually stop to allow a glacier walk as well. For those people who having fishing in mind for this trip there are lots of salmon.
